Our client, a savvy fine-art curator from upstate New York, purchased this gem in quaint Arlington Park. We gutted the home to the studs and rebuilt to her vision. The exposed trusswork was achieved by installing special insulation boards on top of the roof deck. All interior surfaces were finished to a Level 5, and the former carport area was framed in to achieve a 3rd room. An outdoor shower oasis was installed just off the master bedroom, and an enormous picture window at the entry now floods the home with natural light.
